Neighbor had arborist take down big ash near his house that was dead, saved the wood for me in a nice drive up pile. THankful for this pile, which I will grab when the heat wave breaks, maybe 1.5 cord image.jpeg image.jpeg image.jpeg image.jpeg

Tree guys cut it all different lengths, but OWB will not care in the least. They are good friends we have helped with trees before. Just hard to believe in our area how few people still burn wood at all. Most have fire pits they burn outside occasionally, but gas to fireplace I bet is now 20-1

Greg smashes it out of the park......Again!
Greg, you're either one hell of a guy or you did something pretty special in another lifetime to deserve all this good karma :)

Love seeing the picture, save them since it will be a memory before you know it. I still have some ash around here but the quality isn't nearly as good as when they were just starting to die from the EAB. At this point most are on the edge of being junk.

I agree. Most of ours is also getting to that point. But we'll still burn what we can. Probably starting this winter and for sure next we'll be looking for more overnight wood. Perhaps I'll even see if I can get some oak from a neighbor who cut off some woods for lumber. That would be nice as it is right next door.
