Nice. Can you also mount that higher on the tree when pulling one over? Not sure what the weight is there.
Yes I could mount it higher if needed but it is easier when low. I welded some legs on it so that it will stand on it own when getting the straps into place.
That is a good question JustWood. This outing was my first time and I pulled over 5 trees with it and skidded two of them out to the truck. The battery did not show any signs of slowing down. I also considered a small generator if need be but I will hold off on that for now.
Yep Gary you hit the nail on the head. I will be turning 66 here pretty soon and I am trying to find some easier ways of getting my fire wood. I plan on doing this for a long time so you are correct about the work smarter and not harder group.
