    Stay safe.

The ice cream looks "gooder", the storms don't.

Hallelujah! Got some food down today! Woohoo. savemoney I bought some pepto for the road.... I had some excellent news today too! a friend of mine is the head mechanic at a local milk tanker company and they offered me a position in their outfit! I was hired today sick and all. On a Saturday no less! Thank goodness home every night and no more 5 days out 2 days home with occasional home during the week for this guy...... They have 7 drivers and no farm to plant its all pickup and dropoff loads! Best of all I live right down the road from MMPA Milk producers literally I can walk there in 5 minutes!

The wife is happy as all get out that I can be home at night! I might even be able to get online again for more than 2 minutes at a time!:hair:

I am also a little sad because I went with a very good trucking company a little over a month ago and that was my first job switch in 11 years. Love them but my wife and my bed are much nicer than a truck stop ever was.....

Happy for you and the wife. I don't know how anyone can be on the road for those long stretches. When I was away due to the military, I found it very hard to deal with any down time that wasn't home with my family.

Spent all day in the relentless heat. 95 on the thermo at 530. Learned you can still get burnt thru a long sleeve the shirt. :(

Good news is that all that time was on the firing line. Here's a view of a 20"x22" torso at 400 meters. So damm hot I was covering the rifle with my mat.

Drank 1.75 gallons of water and still ran out.

8 more hours of 500 meter fun tomorrow :)

Been hot round heeya too lately. Looks like our humidity is going to drop a bit here today tho... 64 this morning with a slight breeze. I'll take it. Of course it's Maine, so it can change quick...
