Massachusetts Just Banned The Sale Of All Semi-Auto Guns "Decided By State" Effective Immediately Get 'em bought up while your liberties still allow it. MA won't be the last ones to try this my gut tells me.
I find her reasoning amusing : "She states that she was motivated to enforce the ban after 10,000 assault weapons were sold in the state last year and sales of some increased 450 percent in the week after the Orlando nightclub shooting in June." Don't they know that the only reason so many are being bought, is BECAUSE of a fear of a ban like this? So they are perpetrating the buying of even more AR's by enforcing a ban! I for one would have never bought an AR if I wasn't afraid of a ban coming. Things like this make we want to buy a second one even though it's a completely useless firearm to me for all practical purposes. If I hunted coyotes or pigs I'd probably feel differently, but for now it's a gun that just sits unused in my safe.
Can't like this bullcrap. What has semi-auto to do with the price of eggs in Chicago? So, the semi-auto .22 my wife shoots chipmunks with might be banned soon? Okay.... I hope not in MI.
its not exactly a ban ,its not even legal ,so much is still unknown but it is safe to say this state is a piece of living hell

No gun ban is legal and yet here we are. These wackos are 100 percent out of control. They might start competing to see who can screw more Americans more easily.
MA has had a "gun ban" of one type or other for quite some time. You can only have guns that are on the approved list. Which means the mfg has to supply samples of each model and sub-model (a different grip? gotta give the state a sample) and pony up money for testing and some other such nonsense. You will notice that their approved roster leaves out almost every single small company because they don't have the dough to bribe officials, er I mean spend on "testing". You are pretty much allowed to only buy Glock, Sig, Wlather, Ruger S&W and a few other name brands - and you dang well better check that your sub-model is on that list even if the brand name is well represented.
So what you are saying is that these people are once again hypocrites, in the fact that the gun lobby is financing them? And not some other special Interest group? To me it sounds like what they champion AGAINST.

glock is on one of the lists but new ones can not be sold here ,no it does not make sense ,you can buy a gen 2 model used for 800.00 if you want . hey,did i mention i HATE it here
