    Hang tough buddy.

I am dealing with a work injury that really goot my upper body. Neck, shoulder and lower back all at once. Neck is my biggest worry as it effects my arm and hand. Timing sucks for summer as well. :headbang:

Recovery day off. Saw Guns N Roses last night. Descent show considering how long it's been, their age and relationship.

Wife took me to Luke Bryan on Sat, so I took her last night. We were both pleasantly surprised by how much we actually enjoyed them.

Dang G, Seems were all falling apart here lately!!

I got some of my results from the spinal. Seems I have a high white cell count in the CSF fluid which furthers the suspicion my PCP had thought. Looks like I might have MS even though the first Neuro nut though I had a mini stroke. The Nuero lady I'm seeing now is an MS specialist from Yale. If she says its not MS, Then I have to start all over with another neuro nut............. I hate to think its MS, But at least I'll know what the heck I got and can finally start a treatment plan. Having to start over with another neurologist is gonna suck!! Mostly because I'll still need to endure these symptoms. Getting tired of feeling like crap all the time! The brain-fog mostly and as its a PITA!!!

Hope you feel better and get on the mend quickly!!

I can't imagine what uprooted your plant. You can't pull them out they are so strongly rooted. I have many varieties of Hosta. Biggest issue I have with them is slugs. Not so bad this year because of the dry weather. The deer don't come near with my dogs on patrol and leaving their sent around the edge of the lawn. I had a woodchuck so up. I took large cloves of garlic and tossed them around in the gardens. No more chuck sightings. Also very few bugs.

Makes you think about foot and hand placement instead of just where you are going. Watch out for tipping over when you reach for something. Any problems chewing and swallowing? Hope your recovery continues to go well for you.

damm J. Yeah MS isnt the best outcome but I guess knowing what you are dealing with is a big part of the battle.

I also hear ya on changing docs. My PCP isnt the sharpest needle on the med tray either. I really need to find a new one. I use to travel an hour to Manchester NH for my old PCP, DR Joseph Pepe. I really liked him but he took a position at Catholic Medical Center as the Chief Medical Officer about 7-10 years ago and now he is President of the hospital. Good for them, sucks for his former patients. He was top notch for sure.

My current doc said no need for xrays, I feel it muscular. One visit with the physical therapist and she is disagreeing and saying what I thought it was-disk issues. Cervical and likely lower back as well. May be an MRI in my future.

Oh well, keep on the bright side and make the best out of a situation-I hope you are feeling better sooner than later buddy !!

Yuk, I hate brain fog. But it happens. Best to know it so you can put off what you are doing for a better time and steady hand. I know what it is to be exhausted all the time. Many times it is the medication. dammed if you do and dammed if you don't. You can only play the hand you are dealt. I'm not embarrassed to admit that I have had to get help dealing with the changes I have had. For me, it is an ongoing issue.

Non of them know what the hell they're doing. I was treated for 6 months for sciatica and kept getting worse. Finally got kicked out of PT because they couldn't help me. Doc then ordered an MRI and they figured out I had a ruptured disk. I won't let them cut me so I deal with the pain. Sucks to get old.

My PCP is 72 now. Gonna dread the day he retires. Been my doc since I was 19!! He suggested I go to the MS center 2 years ago, But I wasn't willing to travel to the big city. So I went to a local neuroligist. Waste of time and money. Guy was a quack!!

I should know for sure Tuesday as I have my next appointment with Dr Bailey. I'll keep ya posted!!

Go for a 2nd opinion if ya can G. Best not to take chances. Too tough to heal at our age. X rays are cake. MRI(I've had 3 in the last year) ask for a blind fold and crank the tunes.............. :D My last one was 3 hours before contrast. Then they slide me out for the contrast. I had had enough by then. And jumped off the table. But I'd take an MRI over the spinal. Hurt like heck and my back is still tender 5 days later!!

Take care bud!! Sucks being all :pain:in the summer.
