Here's how they haul firewood in Central African Republic...sometimes the really industrious kids even hook the cart to the bike. So, yeah, it can be done...
that's hittin' below the belt GS--my "toy" chainsaw at least isn't sitting on a shelf with 217 of its friends and has brought in more firewood than you've seen since 7th grade--there's talk and there's walk Kentucky...
Don't get testy... I have cut and hauled my share of wood in my lifetime. I may see if I can find a picture or two tonight, maybe I have one of a load of logs going to the sawmill.
I used to haul logs with my BMX bike in the early 2000s. I had a trailer I held the handle of. It was in S. Florida and all flat terrain. Had to keep my fire pit fed!
you are killing me!! lmao--now you want to hear the rest of the story? I was waiting on my "call" to snag the maple all this time and as I went past Tue. after work there was but the large stump of "my" tree left! I turned around madder than a hornet sped back to question the team standing by the shredder--the guy said that "duck" (as he will be known) told him about me but said he couldn't find my # (which was on his phone)--I persisted and he offered to load into my truck the wood on his trailer. Came home and cut it to length with my "toy" saw. In hindsight I see I was pretty emotional and not using my head (like a man would) because I did not use the opportunity to "network" (not my word)--I'll be reprimanded by y'all for breaking that cardinal wood hoarder rule--it all happened so fast I hope you'll let me off with a warning this time and let this be a lesson to me--where is a copy of those rules anyhow? it was my "job" that got in the way of a great haul and I'm glad to have the load I got View attachment 98500 View attachment 98500
abc's? always be cool? as I said I was overwrought by emotion--just another good load or two lost to circumstances--no worries--worked out the anger in the cutting--and take away? oh you mean my final hurrah before I leave?--I thought that was Chinese to go...
