My friends and I went back to farm that we cut wood at three weeks ago. Brought out four truck loads (the Toyota left with one and came back for a second) and a trailer load. We left an easy 4 truck loads cut and split for pick up later. Not bad for three men and four hours.

    Looks like a good day!
Careful cutting on those piles...I know a guy that was doing that and ended up with a VERY nasty broken leg when the logs shifted. That pile there doesn't look too scary though...just a friendly reminder to stay alert and safe out there!

Second that. I had a few scary incidents on a couple log loads. I had to check my pants last year after one of them. Saw went flying one way and I went flying the other and narrowly escaped being rolled up on. It would have been a really bad situation.

Getting squished is always my fear around heavy stuff. I picked up a cant hook as to squash that fear around logs. Even huge logs are easy to roll around with it, safely out of way. Just hook onto the end of a log when it is on a pile and roll it wherever.
That looks like some good wood!

Yeah, a lot of poking, probing and studying before every cut. It's like a giant game of Jenga!
