We were walking our bikes at this one spot and all of a sudden I heard the rattler go off, I didn't realize what it was at first. Co-worker says "rattlesnake!" I backed up so fast I plowed into his bike, he fell and his bike fell on top of him and I fell on top of him and his bike   That thing was about 2' away from me....needless to say it say, it scared the sh!t out of me. I used to hunt for years and for some reason never saw a big snake like that in the woods before.

Shocking Will, just shocking ..

I really missed you guys.. :D :picard:

Thanks for all the B'Day wishes everyone ! :handshake:

No rest for the wicked today, just got home, am officially off the road.. Whew. It's race day @ Loudon up here, everyone was driving like they're on the track.. I guess I'm getting too old for that sh.. :picard:

We celebrated yesterday here w/ a B'Day cookout, having everyone @ the same table was the best gift I could wish for, that happens way too infrequently these days.

Was talking to my folks in FL yesterday, my dad has been recovering from hand surgery (arthritic joint repair) some 10 weeks now, and his back's been hurting, due to favoring one arm / side during recovery.

The rehab folks said an inversion table might help out, so w/ his birthday coming up, started scoping them out: the Teeter Hang Up models were the ones recommended. After pricing @ amazon, jumped up on CL to see if any were listed, found a listing from some nice folks that were moving & had a basically new unit (only used 3-4 times), and were selling for about 1/4 the price (80) vs. new (300+).

So, that was my birthday morning, picking up a Teeter Hang Up model 560 Inversion table to send down to FL - a few scuffs aside, it really is in new condition. It's something that he wouldn't purchase for himself / he'd say it was too much $$$, so it will be a nice gift for him.. Hoping it will help him out w/ recovering faster.

Gotta find a big-azz box to get it shipped out this week.

I've officially had (1) beer: Samuel Adams Summer Ale, hooray !

Time for a nap.

Have a great evening all !
