I don't mind going to work. I just hate having to wait 8+ hours until I can go home. :D

 , but true. Actually, it is 10-12 hours for me, but if I could take off 8 of those, that would be awesome ;)

Good idea to check. No signs of it. I did call the Wisconsin DNR. They said I could transport wood as long as our county wasn't quarantined (which we aren't).

That's good to hear, they must be treating it as dimensional lumber, despite the bark being on it.

I know the laws are there so not so smart people from doing stupid things, but according to the statutes, no firewood -which bark attached slabs count as, can be brought into the state, from out of state. That's regardless of whether the wood originates from a non quarantined area, or not.

I think this is a case of the person you talked to didn't have a clue what the laws actually are.

Lol. Just like cubs fans assuming they'll be in the world series.

I could deal with the Jay's being in the World series much better than the cubbies.

Raked the yard of the sticks that came down at the "lodge" and made a run to the tree dump before work. My sycamore trees sure are messy. :)

Noting much really, but I do have an appointment @ 5:00 to split some live oak and fill my cooler.
(All wood is carried in my closed cooler so no bugs get in the car - I have a Yukon, not a truck).

Thanks alot! Saw that some time ago and was glad I would never have to watch it again.....until you posted it.

I think that guy needs to socialize a bit more....or maybe he used too and was cast out!?

Even the dog was barking at him to shut up at around 3:03!

This is wood I had to buy here. It doesn't burn very well, but it will bake some taters.
