Raining, wet and cool. Wife has the heat on and I have some windows open.. I don't care for the muggies. Seems we have one more day of it before the hot and humid 90's..

still focused on the engine building. set the four 48 foot 6"X12" beams with the crane and got a good start on the rafters. the engine crew moved, cleaned, and set the alternator. this pic is Sunday tasty beverage time!

there is a lot to do before we can put air to it to fire. the exhaust has to be changed from the right to the left of the engine and designed. Fuel, air and radiator lines have to be completed to a shed roof in the rear, intake air cleaner designed (anyone know of an 18 inch air cleaner?) to fit on the pipe protruding on the left with the barrel over it, and the list goes on...... the hard work is done, though. now to finish the building!

Our Saturday trip to the lake was dandy. Great fishing weather and an overcast top water day. They were crushing the pop-r's!!

I saw an article in the paper today about a small fire at the MWP mill last night. Not much damage, maybe a days production lost. It said in the article that they're running 24 hrs/day which I found interesting. They must have some orders if they're doing that.

Nevermind. I see Hoss already posted it.

    Yup
These sort of things take copious amounts of time and $$$$ +++ blood sweat and tears.
But the joy of seeing it done is worth it all.

A laid back day so far.

Sucking up some coffee and enjoying the early morning

Supposed to rain a bit today, but not a huge amount.

A bit warmer tomorrow and Wed, then cooling off and damp for the weekend again.

Still messing with the new Pasma cutter we bought last weekend.

Finally got the parts we needed (consumables) yesterday, so now it can work again.

Time to build a cart to hold the Oxy/Acet torch, the plasma and the compressor we are using with it.

Keep the cutting tools together ya know.

Finally got off my butt and went someplace. We went to Five Isles for Lobster, clams, corn, potato and lots of fresh sea air. Beautiful day. Good times. $96 bucks for the food, but we don't do that often at all. 2 lb hardshell lobsters and a pound of steamers.
