    American are the most generous people.. review any time there is a tragedy or natural disaster overseas and watch the aid flow in. Or just see the kindness and generosity of this site alone.. are we perfect no but compassion and willingness to help speaks volumes!

    Timely thread, we need to focus a bit on all the good, not just the craziness on the news lately.
    I had a thought some years back, if I were an independently wealthy type (with money, not just firewood) I would start a good news network (GNN) 24/7 reporting on only good things that happen, and good things people do for others

    Their not blinders, they are rose colored glasses, hopefully people start looking at the country and for that matter, the world, with a rosier outlook. sorry you took it in a different vain. Reality is often times a bitter pill to swallow. Lets hope things get better..............

You know, bashing our president about a subject when laws are from the constitution, the Supreme Court decisions, and congressional law makers, Then gun issue and related to election coming up....... Yada, yada, yada.

    Politics is a horrible cancer. Now more than ever in our country's entire history.

    I'm dead serious. I refuse to even watch the news anymore, I can't believe what they show us. It's all one-sided.

    That being said, in my heart I truly believe we need to get right with our Creator. Everything that's wrong with today points to the fact that we've denied our Creator..

    There's a LOT of good in our country, it far outweighs the bad......and as upsetting as modern times are, please don't lose light of that fact.

    There is still hope for our country...
