I remember drinking Genesee Light beer for $5.99 a case years ago. Now I have the taste for the stuff that's 7-8 bucks a 6 pack. Glad I don't drink as much as I used to!

Cheapest I've found around here is a case (24) of Keystone Light for $9.99.

Toss on tax and $2.40 worth of MI bottle deposit and you're out the door for just under $13. Assuming you bring the cans back, you land at 44 cents a beer.

I kinda miss the days where Meister Brau was $6.99 a case.

Then again, maybe I don't. That stuff was kinda rough.

I'll check up on the local prices (Norwegian krone) next time at the store.

I'm sure you drank your fair share of it, just like I did. That was the "go-to" beer back in the college days.

Summer is "cheap beer" season for me. I lean towards Miller Lite, Busch Light and Coors Light in the summer. Come cold weather I head for the microbrews.

I'm in no hurry for cold weather to arrive either...

Sierra Nevada Torpedo is my go to "cheap" beer. Comes in cans for the woods (not until the cutting is done of course) and the water....and enough alcohol in it to not freeze at the temps we do most of our gathering in:drunk:

My go to beer is Miller Lite and the local store is $25.25 a 30 pack.

Last weekend changed it up for my special recipe Corona's and took the golf cart down to the lake to enjoy the view.

Recipe is fairly simple. Open bottle, (no fruit for me though) take a big gulp to make some space, and fill to the top with tequila. Getting thirsty all of a sudden.
