    Woke up to the sad news of the tragedy in Dallas. Prayers and sympathy to all of the families and fellow officers to those involved. The "Thin Blue Line" suffered greatly last night and all current and past LEO's feel a sense of unbelievable loss and despair. R.I.P. Brothers.............

    After waking up and seeing the news of the 11 Dallas officers shot, i have no words really.
    Other than if you pray, pray for our country now more than ever. We are more divided as a nation than i can ever remember being. Things are going to get bad folks if we keep going down this road.

    It's absolutely pitiful, and totally disgraceful, what is happening to our country right now. In the past 8 years it's absolutely spiraled our of control.

    My thoughts and prayers for justice to the cops who were murdered last night, and I pray the media starts seeking the truth instead of pushing an agenda.......

    That said, please do your best to keep this from getting political. I know it's hard, but it's even harder to keep the peace here. We've got a great family in this forum, all of you included.

    The media is politically prejudiced. Has been for years and years. That would be a good place to start house cleaning. I don't see it happening. I feel so sorry for the officers and their families. I also feel very sorry for the families of those whose were shot by officers esp. where it was preventable.
    I do support the wearing of web cams by the officers. If it is going to be the evening news, it should be reported truthfully. Not hysteric reactions.

    This kind of stuff is a big part of why I don't pay much attention to the TV or Facebook anymore. Seems to happen almost daily these days. I wish I could just build a wall around my property and forget about all this tragedy and violence.

    This is absolute senseless. Dark days in America. It is hard to believe that a very small percentage of our population can affect the rest of our nation so much. I hope that the law abiding, good citizens of this nation can rise up and get past this so we can come out stronger on the other side. I feel the majority of the country is on the same page with how we feel and our leaders need to respond swiftly with action.(I know, crickets, right?) We do need leaders more than ever.

    To the officers, rest in peace. To their families, find strength.

    Shoot, we rarely even turn the tv on and the Facebook thing is looked at very lightly; mostly to check on grandchildren. Most of the other stuff on there is junk and it is so difficult to believe what some folks think they have to post. Why? I see no purpose in most of it.

    We had to go to the city 2 days in a row. I hate it even worse now than I have in the past.

    Hard to say but in this day of the "Information Age", the desire to know who done it and why would be impossible to downplay. I agree that there never seems to be enough emphasis on the damage these things do to our families.
