One day for sure! But it will likely be awhile yet before I get to really test it.

This is the one series of saw that you can't make a half hearted attempt to start. I always roll mine to TDC and then pull like hell. If you are foolish enough to drop start it I suspect it will be a one time only mistake. Mine are running 36" bars.

I agree... I had one of these, and it was tough to drop start. I already had a Pioneer P-60, so I ended up selling the BP-655.

What I want to know is, why would you run that short of a bar on a 99cc saw? :saw:

Because that's the only Poulan mount bar I've got! And it's the one that came with it.....

Don't worry, I'll find something appropriate for it. ;)

And there's plenty of you hooligans out there using really big saws to cut really small (square) logs really fast! :wacky::p :saw::saw:

Funny that because my Super 1050 is also a 100cc machine and pushes the needle much higher on my compression gauge. The 1050 has no decomp and is a pussycat to start compared to the 655.

On one of mine I need to check the decomp before each pull. If I don't it will try to rip my fingers off.

But knowing you you probably traded a baloney sandwich for like half of those and found another third of them in a box on the street. And bought the others at yard sales for $0.25 apiece , or from your buddy at the pawn shop for $1 apiece.
