I got Lyme's disease in of all places... "Lyme" Connecticut where it all started, I was stationed at the USCG Academy then. Man that was horrible.
Hate having Lymes. Never really know how much havoc it has or will do to you. I got it bad once. Got treated over and over to get rid of the infection that I got with it. Had a huge skin infection the size of a football on my chest. It was like being burned.
Can't like that Larry. Bad juju. Same for Dave's story. I check myself after EVERY outside excursion. Even just walking out for the mail.
It's hard to like the situation and as Larry said, it never seems to go away! I can start hurting out of a clear blue sky! I didn't find out I had it for over 5 days, I had a huge bullseye on my left arm near my arm pit I couldn't see till the Doc gave me the once over in the hospital. I walked in hurting soooooooooo bad and a temp of 103.4* Yes, I hate those little BA$T@RDS!!!
Kimberly down in Virginia sure could use some of that wood--did you see her thread "not following the rules" a page or so ago? Don't know how close she is to this damage but blood is thicker than water so they say...
Not yet Dave, and I forwarded the addresses to some friends. Work now has me tied up and I have duty this weekend. I have some folks are giving me the time to get them so I'll be back. There is still so many trees down it'll be weeks before it's all cleaned up, the townships weren't prepared for a hit like this. Insurance companies are also sloooooooow going!
