Was that the same storm you got that hail from?

 

It was the same storm that hit Norfolk, we just had rain in the woodlands.

 

Maybe 1/2 day today. Installing an ac system and you never know, all may go well......(stay away, Murphy!)

Then, time to tackle a couple lawns.

 

Think I'll list some stuff on the bay and polish and clean some knives to list on the bay. Times are tough.
Then I'll take a nap.

 

Good morning, woke up to a pretty good thunderstorm and heavy rain, it's all passed and we might see 80 degrees.
Gotta' go pick up a solenoid kit for my old cherokee, the transmission has been shifting funny. I bet I won't start on that today.
Trimmed a very bushy limb from my neighbors house and we burned it all while swilling cold frosties until well after dark,,for some strange reason we kept putting well seasoned firewood on it while the truck stereo kept getting louder,,,

 

1-1/2 hours of mowing in and a little more to go. Then I'll be all caught up before the rain hits. Wife was good enough to make me an omelette with bacon and toast. And a Pepsi for dessert. LOL

 

I mowed the lawn last night, and I finished just as the storms hit. Just rain, so that was good, we needed rain.

I'm off work for a long holiday weekend. Taking the dogs, wife, and ski boat up to the camper/ cabin in the northwoods. Friends are joining us up there.

I slept in to catch up on sleep and then it's packing and go time.

 

I think my coffee is defective cause my azz is draggin today.

Got a bunch o' stuff to do today. Couple more hours of work then the weekend starts.

Got a bunch of fireworks to set off tomorrow for our neighborhood party. I think there are somewhere between 600 and 700 shots (fireworks, not whiskey).

Our neighborhood is has a mole infestation of biblical proportions. Every yard has anywhere from 10 - 20 hills. One of the neighbors, an older guy, is currently sitting in a lawn chair next to a hill...with his shotgun.

 

The baseboards r done along with door jam, the inside of the metal door was added to the list but with the storm moving in I"ll call it a day.

I want to be finished by Sunday at noon.

 

Mowed the "new" 1/4 acre lot, minus house, with the 60 inch Bad Boy zero turn last nite. Neighbors thought I was nuts, done in about 3 minutes. Hey if I still have it might as well use it , right??

 

Was hoping to take off early today to start a nice lazy long weekend.

Walked in the office and got asked "...so how busy are you today? I could really use your help."

Doh!!!

Then mid way through the morning I received a call from a good client. Met with him...looked at the project, then he asked "Sorry I didn't call sooner but...can you have it ready for me by Tuesday morning?"

Double doh!!!!

 

Grass mowed. More wood split and stacked with kids helping. Some dirt work done in pasture area. Everything put away before storm got here. Rain started! Then stopped five minutes later. Not much sense in counting 1/8"!
