Just wanted to say to the motorcyclists on here that when strapping things to your motorcycle be very careful. I just read a news article where a man died because a blanket came lose and got caught in the wheel. The wheel locked and threw the man off the motorcycle into the right lane of the motorway. He was unresponsive in the road but was hit by two tractor-trailers and pronounced dead at the scene.
OK, just saw another report that the man was not wearing a helmet so he could have been dead on impact. You have to be careful when strapping things to a motorcycle.
At first I thought it was about this: DASHCAM: Motorcycle hits unsecured load on I-94 in Woodbury, Minn. Stay frosty out there everyone...anything can happen.
Sorry but this also made me think of a RAAM racer (Gulewicz from Austria) who was trying to put a coat on while riding his bike. Got a sleeve caught in the front wheel. Next thing he knew, he woke up in a hospital. Looked pretty bad too but he came out of it okay as he has been on RAAM every year since. This year, he had to dnf due to some health problems but would have finished probably in 4th had he stayed with it.
