Good work Bogy! Looks like you scored on some nice heavy pallets for the bottom of the stacks also. Just wondering how many years service have you gotten out of those pallets? How are the bugs? Lastly, I think I'll beat you to the saying of "the days are getting shorter now" this year!
Nice work Dave! What is the suspended plywood rope device for? Is that to prevent the tops of the stacks from leaning out?
Yea I stack 7 - 8 ' high, & live in earthquake country helps stabilize the rows being tied together (top 2 are tied into the woodshed frame)
Bugs / horrible today, a little rain for a few days & then today got warm (72° ) many hatched & are hungry. Sunrise and sunset times in Anchorage 7 years on the pallets , so far
One good thing about the dry weather we're having is fewer mosquitoes to contend with. Deer flies are bad though.
Good work bogydave. I just finished and can back to playing some more golf! Do you let wood processing get in the way of golf? I felt I needed a little break from golf, and now am grateful I have a break from the wood thing.
