Took this pic after I cut and weed wacked today. After looking at the photo? It looked like there was a filter to make just the Wood grey!!

    No filter needed!! :D

It's probably wet still... Like Backwoods Savage wood!!

TurboDiesel, Barcroftb, Eric VW, and Shawn Curry know all about that!

That wood (one piece) was a bubbling mess! Kinda reminded me of my first year heating, following my dad's advice:hair:

That wood looks like it has been there a couple or three years.

You guys know you were burning his stash of OAK in that campfire, right? :picard:   I believe he recommends allowing something like "3 Years" ;) of seasoning time! :D

Dex, I'm not 100% certain but I think I remember when you first posted those stacks of wood. Yes, I think that should be dry by now!

Yeah, it's been back there 3 years (this is its 3rd summer)..

Probably ready by now!! I got some of that Wood from the 2014 spring GTG at Swags (almost 2 of the 6 racks). The other 4 I cut the winter prior.

    Thanks...

Can't understand that whole approach, you know? With all the experience he claims to have; with all the advice his gives; with all the pics he posts of wood piles and then something like that happens? Makes you wonder.....

He doesn't seem to be one of those "Don't do as I do; do as I say" kinda guys....:picard:

And here I thought you all would be burning up about one years worth of his good wood while you were there....:D

The wet Wood of Dennis' was a running joke when we were there. Because it was as dry as a popcorn fart. We had to poke fun at the master of firewood!

Little did we know we were burnng his last bit of Oak.... :( Sorry Dennis and Judy

No, not the last of the oak but just the oak I didn't burn over the winter because it wasn't needed. Still have more oak in back. No harm done.

I guess that the pic of that popcorn fart had moisture bubbling out of the end of it, no?
