Well guys I have not created any new threads in a while because my daughter broke the camera and the rules is the rules.. Well I got a new camera Nikon 3100 from buddy that does not need it with tripod 3 lenses etc for $150 and my cousin came up and brought this beauty with a 25 inch bar Now I say in my sig that I am looking for a 70cc saw. There might be a better plan of has a cousin who has one and cut together cause we got a lot down and done.. He says he will woods port it but not until 2 year warranty is up But he is a taller guy 6'8" so he showed me the correct way for tall guys to block we bring tractor to log chain it to bucket curl the bucket and it is all waist height and he says a 25 inch bar is minimum as you don't have to bend over as much to cut then the saw in the wood looks like this I have mentioned I was working on a 48 DBH ash log as my frustration piece which now is done So here are the piles on to splitting and stacking THis is a beech nut on tractor is poplar and birch and the rest of that darn ash.. my back isn't even sore
Well of course your back isn't sore when you let your friends do all the cutting while you are parked on the tractor! That looks like some very good firewood!
hey I was test driving the 461 ..? it was fun! cutting logs at hip high is the right way did not try to use a milk crate mmm
Another nice thing about using the tractor is that you can move around a bit with the next logs so you're not tripping over already cut blocks.
yeah that and when your done take bucket push to a pile and stack later... did not get tractor for firewood but if it died I would replace it!
Looking good man, work smarter not harder I don't need to lift the wood up, I'm already low to the ground
I'm sitting here listening to the Bluebirds sing trying to think of something to reply...........I got nothing. Glad you got a new camera.
Need a picture of the tractor holding one of those big logs and with a saw in the kerf doing its job. Without a doubt tractors can be very handy to have around. Looks like plenty of firewood.
3rd pic down log is 3 feet high round below it was first round cut.. maybe a better angle new camera.. I'm sure we will get some more done soon.. heading north to trios rivers Canada wife meme having a 95th b day party can't miss that!
Yup. See how high that splitter is? HDRock was standing on a milk crate at the time and TurboDiesel was falling face first into the wood pile.
