    fawn's have little to no scent, nature's way of keeping predators at bay.
    he probably stumbled upon something scent wise out of order and saw movement.
    I've watched my lab smell in circles on a rabbit that is literally 5ft from him frozen until the rabbit moved and then the chase is on, a small wood duckling did the same thing but stayed still and he just sniffed it

    Thunderstorms just moved through, temp went from 96F(feels like 106) to 75F - that's what I call air conditioning:D

    I miss so many things about my previous home and previous town. I do not miss the panic of being handicap with a lil one and pets. They have had record breaking wet years since the aweful 2012 fires, but this stuff scares the crap out of me and I am glad not to be there anymore. My previous home is just to the right of the close up photos at the beginning, around a mile or so, too close for comfort.

    Just got home. Great time. They sounded great. As we helped load their gear out, this place inflated a huge movie screen and added some serious sound gear for an outdoor theatre set-up. Cool.

    I know the rule about no shoes. But weight limits? Fun has no weight limit. Isn't that where the phrase " tons of fun" came from? :D

    This moved through.

    Went from 92 to 74 in a few minutes.

    70mph winds, hail and rain followed.

    Wife...in the basement with the dogs and weather radio.

    Me...on the porch getting a bit damp.

    Both of us waiting for the power to come on.

    Tree limbs are down all over, just waiting for the chainsaws. :)
