I took down 10 cherry trees and a bunch of little sapling/mini trees for a family friend this weekend. Most of them were pretty small but the one in the middle of the picture was decent, About 28-30" across at the base, then split into multiple trunks. It was a fun job, the guy we did be job for took a little bit of wood. I had two dump trailers of rounds to haul off, so one went to Jred85 and the other to my house. He came out and was a big help with the work. Not bad to get paid and get some more btus for the woodpile.
Looks like a pretty good load of wood. It all adds up and next thing you know you have another cord for the 3 year plan. Way to go.
were these trees diseased or in the way of progress?? a new driveway maybe or pasture?--I'm glad you got them but why were they cut?
The trees were blocking a view and a few of them were dying. It was mostly just for the owners to clean up the yard and have less mess for them to clean up in the fall.
