I promised a picture of the fountain created in our school foyer for the School Leaving Ceremony. Here it is. As the ladies were filling it, someone asked how are you going to empty it. the answer - Carefully. the fountain is spraying water but it doesn't really show up against the background.

I know the feeling, worked all shifts in the last 27 yrs. Being in a normal routine with regular folks feels good

Did get to see some cool scenery along the English Channel today. I've always wanted to see the cliffs. It wasn't a sunny beach day at all but it was nice. I 'hired' a bike in Brighton and rode down the 'pavement' along the top of the cliffs and then back on the walk along the base of the cliffs. And stopped in a pub for a pint (or two).

Yep, that guy is a pure a hole too. Dogs and kids have to stay in the water and he can't do or say a thing.

Guy says he splits a cord of wood in 11 minutes.

Lawn mowed, basswood stacked, ready for the next load of wood to be brought over and then stacked. There's another load of basswood, which will make it a half cord. Some of the basswood is only good for campfires, but they were on my buddy's GF's lawn from a tree that fell in spring. It was a big tree, to bad it wasn't even a little better quality wood for burning. I swear this stuff was seasoned as soon as it was bucked. This particular tree had spots that had grubs in it, which was pretty disgusting as I split it.

The nice straight windfall basswood that uprooted in my woodlot is much cleaner, straighter, and no rot. That will be more of my spring shoulder wood.

My wife got more mulching done, but we ran out of landscape fabric. So that will have to wait.
