I must be crazy. (really no question about it!) Every year I look forward to seeing the dandelions bloom. If you can stand back and look at them, not for invading your lawn, but for the brilliant spring color, they can be welcomed, even if it is only for the bloom.
I like the color too after a long white winter. The only thing I don't like is half a day after cutting the lawn it looks like I didn't cut at all.
No but we do have a neighbor about 1/4 mile from us who has a huge lawn and in the spring, it is 75% yellow, at least for a while.
We don't have a lawn, we have a yard, everything is growing there, wildflowers, and strawberries, moss and dandelions, (and of course, grass). The yard is great looking and I don't mind any of the dandelions at all.
