No fire here. Only got down to 43 and we were okay. 45 predicted tonight but it does not feel as cool outdoors as it did yesterday so I think we'll be okay.
Wacky weather here too! We were in the mid 90's last week now we're back in the 70's with night time temps in the 40s-50s. Had a wicked front come through yesterday afternoon and dropped temps quite a bit. Trees down everywhere
Got back home yesterday afternoon a little after 4 pm, and my wife had a fire going (sort of). She said the house was a little chilly. I don't think it got past 60 OAT and the wind was pretty strong. She said she had a tough time getting it going. I wonder if she shut the air off and shut the door. She has a tough time remembering which direction is closed, but at least she's trying (insert joke here). I got up this morning and the IAT was 63, so............fire.
50 outside rainy.. 30 mph north wind I built a fire June 8th.. I do not care what calendar says it was 59 inside house! that won't work it's 72 inside now I like
Put on a sweater last night, then said, to heck with this, made a fire and took the sweater off Didn't see any June bugs out last night either, they were smart hiding out keeping warm somewhere
June bugs seem really plentiful this year for some reason. I don't recall seeing this many for this long. Anyone else find this? Too bad I don't have the chickens anymore, they loved them.
52 here with the windows open and loving the cool fresh air. Supposed to get into the 40's tonight and we'll take it. Soon we will be sweating in the heat and humidity. I did some yard work this AM with a sweatshirt on. Perfect weather for it.
Yuck. Now they are forecasting 90 for tomorrow. Our first 90 this year and hopefully our last. But only one day of the heat, thankfully.
90° at the southern boarder this afternoon and sunny!!!! Way to hot going from 67° as a high on Tuesday.
Yep, I saw that forecast, I went out and mowed some grass, and weed whacking trim just before dark tonight, to beat the heat
That's probably connected to me having to replant my yellow beans for the third time this year. Never had to do it that many times before.
