That works great for noramal driving, if you wanna do any haul azz then your gonna need to double clutch.
I've heard this term "double clutch" before..... I'm afraid I don't know what that phraseology actually refers to. Can ya give a fella a clue?
Instead of pushing the clutch, then shifting, then letting it out..... you push the clutch, put in nuetral, let clutch out, push clutch again, shift to desired gear, let clutch out. It synchronizes the speed of the trans input shaft to the engine speed making the synchros in the trans work easier...
I rarely ever double clutched any of them. Only a few times when they wouldn't go in. The solid hub would shift faster than the spring hub. Had them in Nv4500, 5600, and the G56.
Glad you didn't have to.... how many revs were you pulling on all those. Mine runs up to 3200 pretty quick.....
