What's up today (bullchiting) thread.

I never thought I wouldn't give 2 weeks notice ever. As an Eagle Scout, and a hard-working individual, with morals. I would never imagine I'd be in that position. I found that job once.

Quitting how I did, as a young man, honestly really made me a better, stronger man and that moment is one that I will never forget. Nor will my ex boss who would never let me have a weekend off ever. While he had nearly every weekend off, despite telling me we'd rotate weekends so we could all have time off for weekends.

I had enough literally right before the 4th of July weekend kicked off.

Let's just say I had a great holiday weekend up north , and my ex boss had to cancel his up north holiday weekend and work in the store.

People need to learn how to say " NO" or " No more!". They also need to learn how to treat others with compassion, or learn the hard way.


Only you know yourself, and what's best for you and your family.

We're here to listen, and I'll be the last to judge when it involves you and yours.

Dammit. I have to get up at 4:30.

 

Oh man, do I need some caffeine. I'll be home after 10 hours today. Prolly have to cut some grass again.

 

I hate the new version.

 

Asked the boss for 1/2 day today and he ended up giving me a full day off! Worked longer yesterday and got three jobs wrapped up, he was happy with the results. Now, just run in while its early and finish some billing, grab the paycheck, and the weekend starts.

I'll start out the weekend by celebrating on the riding mower at the cottage!

 

Yesterday i decided it would be a great idea if i let the owner of the company know about what has been going on.
I KNOW she has only learned 1 side of the story for the past year... Thats just the way her son is.

I know where she lives at, im just going to stop by probably wednesday after work.

It'll start off with something like "I would like to talk to you for a few moments, i may get upset, i may
swear. All that i ask is that you please do not interrupt me, let me talk for a minute."

She's done nothing wrong to me, and she owns the joint. So i feel its right i get her up to speed.
Short notice to her, but its all i can do right now.


I had to drag my self out of bed on this nice friday morning.

Good morning, upper 60's and pouring rain earlier and a heat wave rolls in over the weekend,,should be good for some thick, sticky humidity..
Hope this find you good people well and good luck to you guys making a job change.

 

Everything coming in 4's today. 4 hours of conference calls for work, 4 baseball games after work, 4 acres of grass to mow after ball games, and probably 4 beers to end the day. Not sure if I can get all that done, but imma try.

 

Crazy day at work coming up today. Our School Leaving ceremony is Sat. and we have parents, students and staff all going crazy decorating, walking practice and generally not being where they are supposed to be. Something always gets forgotten at the last minute. As Gasifier would say "good times". I must admit I enjoy the energy in the high school but I will be glad to get home tonight.

I will have to try and get a picture of the water fountain created in our foyer for the event. With lights on and water spraying, it should look quite good.
