For my 1st try they were good , but the next time I'll take them off a bit sooner , I like my burger more medium rare .
My twist on this... I used cream cheese on the bottom layer, top with carmelized onion/garlic/mushrooms, then some shredded cheese... Oh yea wrapped a nice piece of bacon around it... I smoked it over with some cherry wood... Thanks for the recipe Grizzly Adam ...
This is my take on stuffed burgers. 3/4 pound patties, stuffed with jalapeƱos and smoked pepper jack cheese that I smoke. Wrapped with bacon and then topped with bacon and more smoked pepper jack cheese and smoked Sharp Chedder.
Actually, I do like it charred on the outside and med rare on the inside.....mmmm tasty. I am going to have to try these-they look incredible
I vote for both-garlic and parmesan edit- I know see that's what will711 did. Sorry took a little time to actually read the text since I had to get past the pics first. If I didnt have some chuck roast in the smoker right now for pulled beef, these would be on tonights menu for sure
