Nothing says you can't tell them you've decided to keep that one (should tell that to everyone who comes to look at pups). Let them pick out a different pup - they won't just make excellent parents to that particular one, but to any of them.

I sincerely hope that things do nothing but get better for you.

 

Good morning everyone! Have I said how amazing this FHC "home" is lately? Have a great Tooozday...

 

Man, you have NO idea..I had mistakenly jack-legged a shelf here and there as I needed one the 1st 10 years I lived here and now have a MESS on my hands, some screwed on some nailed..some metal brackets some wood..
I'm starting to think I need to demo all that crap,, one wall at a time and hang some well organised shelves..pull down all my "stuff" make a big pile in the middle of the floor, sort thru it and toss a bunch of it.
I gave away an old ice cream bucket full of fishing reals and some fishing rods yesterday,,,it was painful to part with 'em even tho' I hadn't used or touched any of 'em in years!!

This is THE only place i resort to on the world wide web for kind words.

I haven't been to Amsterdam in 8 years; tonight I go into what is my favorite watering hole in the world and the bartender looks a me and says 'How you been'. He forgot my name and I had managed to alter his in my memory but it was all good. I also knew a several other local people there from my past trips. Met some other people, including a guy from China who I spent a while talking with. Pretty cool that you can go back to the same place in a different country 8 years apart and pick up with same people that you met before and make new friends, many of whom you will never see again.

Today consisted of work from 6-4 and then left few hours early. Walked/run a total of 4.5 miles and then a little strength training while keeping an eye on a couple young ones while my wife went to see the spoile on, I mean, horse. Relaxing a bit before bed while having a cold beer while my wife has a glass of wine and reads her book. I'm exhausted so I will be in bed by 9:30 and hopefully by 10.

 

Oh. Forgot to mention my FHC Silver zip up sweatshirt arrived. Very nice swags !

 

Well now. I had two surprises yesterday and this morning.

The concrete sidewalk and garage floor repair is finally poured and sealed! That was nice. The next surprise was a little unexpected though.

It's 33° out right now! I know some places will be cooler than that, as we are usually about 5 or more less than the "official" as we live in a river valley. I do not have an accurate thermometer at the house any longer, so I'm just going off the web's current temp reading.

I would have liked three surprises....maybe they started the garage slab at the cottage....?

 

What the .........? Dat cold enough for a far.

 

Caffeine in, time to get ready to do some work. But first part of morning will be taking my son to doctor's appointment. Then get him to school. I hope to get some outside work done today. Looks like good weather.

Yeah, its been real nice. And we can make more products available without spending everything we've made to buy another batch of inventory.
