No Longer Available Shindaiwa 757

I haven't been able to get a nibble on Craigslist since Shindaiwa isn't known for saws much. This saw is in very nice shape and runs well. New ignition, carb kit, fuel line and filter. 20" bar and chain both in pretty good shape. I figured I'd offer it up here before it hits eBay. $350

I dont know much about shindaiwa saws they are a pretty rare item where i live. I was under an impression that the bigger ones all had the funky looking high top filter on them.

 

This is the first 757 that I have seen with a low profile AF cover.

 

You very well could be right. Maybe the starter cover got swapped on from a different saw. I will investigate.

 

I kinda thought the same thing when Andy first posted the saw on C-List, parts lists don't show this air filter option, at least on the IPL I looked at, looks very much like a 577 A/F set up.....

 

Bump on this saw, it does have the 577 air filter setup, but is a 757. You can tell real quick by the muffler, top cover sticker and chain brake setup. New price, $275.
