Hay, I don't want to miss this one. Happy Birthday, now older man Dex! Age creeps up on you faster every year.

Hey Dexter does this mean you have reached the age of retirement? Have a good one and here's hoping for many more.

Friday I got another ton of pellets moved into the house. (after moving about 30 bags of the ThermaGlo's so they are on top for burning at the beginning of the season. Only 6 tons left on the lawn. They will stay there for quite some time.

Today I got to mowing early then spent about an hour on search and destroy mission with poison ivy killer. That stuff is everywhere; 3 sides of the property (if the street wasn't on the 4th side, it would be there too). Then sprayed a bunch of Japanese knotweed that is on the town property next to me - don't want that chit to come over here at all! Went to the dump and the hardware store, then came home to read under the crabapple tree and get scolded by a red squirrel :emb:

Later this afternoon, after the poison ivy killer had =time to dry, I covered one area of it with plastic, topped with landscape fabric, then topped with 7 bags of very wet cedar mulch (OMG, they had to have weighed about 70 pounds and I carried them about 130' :jaw:). Hoping between the killer and the smothering, I can get that area under control by next summer. Still have to do the backside of that rock pile, and will have to continue spraying the middle as there are 3-4 foot stumps and big-azz boulders that I can't move, but at least the spraying will be less in that area.

Today was a 3 shower day :singingintherain:

Is that code for something or an exotic language (perhaps Oragonese)? It seems to be in English and I can read the words but they don't make sense to me :D.

OTH - the pictures pretty much say it all. AWESOME job you are doing!
