Many will recall our neighbors who were at the GTG. We took some trees down for them....2 times. Guess what! I have more to take down now! Just small ones though as there are some ash dieing and a clump of birch they want out. Maybe some day this coming week... Like I need more work. Right.

I had a dream to this effect last night. My dad asked me for some help getting his firewood cut and split the other day, and I guess I must have been thinking about that before bed. (He's got a funny way of asking too - it's an "opportunity" for me, you see, in case I wanted to get some exercise.. Of course I'll be there dad, but it looks to me like you're the one who needs the exercise!)

Anyway, in the dream, I had just started working on the wood pile, when we got a huge gust of wind; which toppled one of his yard trees. So I headed home to get a few saws, only to find that one of my trees had come down on top of my garage (but didn't damage anything). Just what I need - more trees to cut! Still, I was disappointed when I woke up and had to go to work at my "real" job :(...

Might try to get those tomorrow, depending upon how I feel and if it is not raining.

Too darned hot to be cutting. I told neighbor's I'd see them next week when it cools off....and it will. This is July weather.

That's part of the reason I left that tree in the woods yesterday my shirt was soaking wet, sweating like crazy, Sweat Band on and ear plugs in, kind of felt like I was back in the factory workin.
I was hoping it wasn't going to do this and we're going to have some seventies for a while

So far 86 has been the high here but the dewpoint is really high so very uncomfortable.

92 here now, definitely weather to do as little as possible, certainly not C/S/S. I don't need the fuel that heats me twice to heat me twice today. I'd rather be swimming, fishing, or boating. Sitting in the shade works too.
