I got home tonite from work and was super tired, but that new splitter aint gonna split that wood by itself, so i checked all the connections, made a few adhustments and fired it up and split about a rick of wood. I hope I dont sound braggish, but this thing is awesome. I split some knotty maple and it didnt even flinch. This sure beats the axe and 12 lb maul for sure. Im a 19 year Deputy Sheriff and after 19 years of getting in and out of a cruiser with all the duty gear on, sure takes a toll on the back and eapecially the knees. This is gonna help my wood gettin' for sure.

Nice splitter, I have the 22 and it has been great. There was a little leaking at the hose connections when I got it but that was due to the minimum wage assembly it got, a tightening and or some pipe dope cleared it all up.

I also decided before i fired it up for the first time, that i would take the fittings that weren't sealed from the factory that i would take them apart and apply some telflon tape and pipe dope. So far, no leaks and working great.
