It was 86F 30%RH and felt steamy here. A nice 56 this morning, so we can get by with the windows open for a while in the evenings
It was 86 here today. The humidity comes in tomorrow for the rest of the weekend. I flipped the ac on.
We made it to 64* today, the pellet stove has been off for a few hours bogieb cracked me up the other day, she said it's low humidity, only 31%. We had several days of rain and it got up to a record high of 35% in here. I could swear the air felt thick!
It was near 80 last Saturday. More seasonal since then. I just love it when the sun comes out. Best time of the year, to me, is late spring, early summer. `After that, everyone starts belly aching about the humidity and can't wait for the leaves to turn. Seems the weather can't make anyone happy for long. Maybe the weather can catch a brake this year seeing how this year is an election year.
Cold, rainy and dark yesterday so no solar gain. House was in 60's when I got home in the afternoon to I turned on the thermostat (I had turned it off on Saturday) to get it to 70. It ran again this morning before I left for work. Supposed to be in the 80's today.

Here in MD, we went from 55 to 82 in 24 hours. This is actually typical here, but happens earlier mostly. We normally go from winter right into summer, with a short cold mud season in between. Past couple of years we have had a decent spring, but now it seems we are back to normal. I never could understand people who love spring; to me it has always been historically miserable. Going to be high 80's today!
Got most of the garden in today. Then we got a few showers, perfect! My garden is just a teaser compared to gardens I had planted, but it is way batter then the ones I've had for the past two years which were just a couple of tomatoes. Already watching the little tomatoes on the plants in the green house. I have some growing in 5 gallon buckets with drain holes cut in the bottom. I'm going to plant a lot of garlic in among all the other garden vegetables.
Same here. Back in the day I almost had a jungle of house plants inside and awesome gardens outside. That all ended by 2009. This year I have 3 flowering baskets, and WWW braved a busy local gardening club sale for me A few iris, a lily, and some kind of phlox looking purple stalked snapdragon. Glad we are both back at, even if it is on a smaller scale.
I couldn't do it without the support the kids are giving us. I had my grandson doing some weeding and planting. Then he had fun watering. Love having him show an interest and following directions.
