It really depends on what Vancouver you are in. If it's the B.C. one, the 455 Rancher is on sale at $479 at your local Husqvarna dealer (or even Canadian Tire). So keep that in mind in comparing other saws as the 455 was $599 back in the winter.

Just to HAVE a BIG BAD SAW! Just part of Chainsaw Acquisition Disorder. I don't NEED more than a Husky 55 but I'm rebuilding a Husky 272 because I've never had a 70cc saw.

I like using the smallest saw that can get the job done comfortably. Small saw like a Dolmar 421 can get tons of wood cut.

True True. I'll grab the 41cc 011AVT first most of the time.

I've seen this lately on forums - 1 post newbie asks a reasonable question, gets many reasonable answers but never returns. Is this a troll? I can't fathom what they gain. Maybe they enjoy wasting others' time.

Very poorly written "1 post" at that. Which is fine, as not everyone has the "wordsmith" penchant, but good grief, try to make some sense.

Well she did seem to be from Canookistan. Maybe she's French Canookistanian?

I too have noticed quite a few threads like this. Not quite sure what the deal is.

Wrong side of the Great White North for Françáis. To me it reads more like someone from the Far East.
