Continuing on the project I started last weekend - trying to get my wood processing area and garage cleaned up before my Memorial Day BBQ. Here's what it looked like a couple weekends ago: I don't really have any decent pics that show how much of a mess this all was - I kinda tried not to take any in fact. Anyway I'm through 99% of the firewood and the end is now in sight. Most of the remaining logs are black walnut and I'm just going to stack those for now. Here it is - all but 2 face cords of this was heaped in front of my garage 2 weeks ago.

Clean *before* the BBQ? Senseless. Just put the grills/smokers BEHIND the pile of wood. then tell people we can eat once we clear a path to the grill. problem solved! And I still need some small pieces of something fancy for czech sa26 stocks if you got anything. My FHC gear arrived today!
You bet. In fact, Shawn doesn't know it yet, but I am going to get a fully featured photo montage at his compound with my fresh FHC threads in a few weeks.. (I don't see the emoticon for "on the cat walk"). and I have a Nikon D50 so they won't be that milky-lensed brownie camera pics that he takes.. and he promised he would save some leftovers from the BBQ, I know he won't let me down, unless he hates me. or just wants to crush my dreams or whatever...
Hey Shawn, everybody else already used all the good adjectives to describe your cleaning up and stacking, So I'll just say; good job, looks great, and I wish I could stack that neatly.
