No more splitting, but I got some more posts set, and stacked the rest of the Ash that was on the trailer. Only about 30" tall, and I plan to go 60".
This old-er back isn't doing too well either. So, he and his GF just dropped another 4 face of Ash, and I asked him to bring another 4. He'll be bringing that in a couple weeks. Should be more Ash. I forgot a pic of the Ash I got done, so here's one of that............. The load this afternoon....
This is saving me sooooo much time. The kid is a real workhorse. He said he got started yesterday at 4:30 am at his brother's place, and there's a chit-ton more dead Ash to cut. Now, all I need to do is find time to get it all :stacke:.
Same thing with these log loads I've been getting, I have to buck them but I don't have to go out scrounge the wood from who-knows-where and get it back home and unload, but I'm not done scrounging by no means.
The way I was doing it in the woods (wait, what?) was taking me at least 2 hours X 2-3 trips per 1/3 cord. I need 15 face. If you do the math......yep, big time saver. I miss log loads.

Yep. Got me again this past Saturday....wasn't even outside at the stacks, no saw in hand, not even doing chores! Just straight up got me, reaching for my shoes in the closet. Frustrated doesn't cover how I feel.
