You're a better man than I. I quit climbing in the rain 15 years ago. Takes longer to heal these days if something should go wrong. On another note: I cooked up the eggs today and got them in the jar with the beets. I got 22 in there. Should be good and ripe come Saturday.
We may have to get together sometime. My gaffs are for climbing straight dead trees that have cables bolted to them. Id love to learn how to climb a tree with roots still in the ground.
You've got the stomach for it if you climb poles.....but it can get interesting up a crooked old ash tree with the bark peeling put from under the spikes..... I've done literally around thousand trees......and have had some interesting scenarios play out.... I'm not a professional but I DID stay at a Holiday Inn once.....lol
Can someone PM me the address please ?? If it's been posted somewhere I have'nt seen it.. Thanks, Chuck
I hate to be the bearer of bad news, and this really hurts to say.... I can't make it to the GTG. My chiro won't let me ride 6 hours in the car. I'm sorry folks. No peanut butter pies. But...I will be watching and reading posts, eagerly. Again, I apologize.
