I see by the thermostat that the P43 should start up soon. Very dark clouds and the temp is falling (currently 50* - was mid 50's when I got up this morning) - won't go too low, but without solar gain, the house cools off just the same. On and off showers/mist forecast for today. Good day for puttering around inside.

Cool and wet this morning again.

Big Whit handling the load just fine.

After being off all night, the house was chilly and a nice fire very much needed.

Typical shoulder season early morning ritual

Just spoke to my "propane guy" the other day.......the lock-in price for next heating season is at least .5 - .15¢ /gal. cheaper than last winter. No pellet burner in the foreseeable future here. :dex:

Mine went off once yesterday morning, and not since. Supposed to be warm all week, with warm nights (40's-50's), so probably won't fire again for a while.

We had a cool showery day yesterday and the stove was on a while in the morning.

Friends came over last night to visit and we finally had to build a fire about 10 and run it through the night.

    Comfy this morning though.

Better than yesterday when the house was cold

Off last night, but the big Whit is chugging along this morning.

Don't want the house roasting, but 64 F in here sucks "Brrrrrrr"

Mine was running last night and this morning as the house temp dropped in the 60's from the dark, cool, rainy day. I did shut off the thermostat before I left the house to ensure it doesn't turn on again though.

    Mid 80°'s here today :D

Looking like they just need a cleaning!! That may happen when I'm off next week, or after Halloween when they are needed again.. :)
