Too much...pics to follow tonight. Two large piles of splits, two smaller piles of small logs to be cut, one pile of logs to be cut, neighbor has a dozen small 6-10 maples sitting down for me, and a guy I hoarded from last year has 6 or 8 12 inch ash he wants removed.....doesnt include the 5 cords of split stacked.... so I guess the answer is ....there is never enough:dex::saw::saw::saw::saw::saw::saw::saw::saw:

You guys are good. My answer is "all of the above".

Scavenger, you need a bigger truck (to haul more) and a bigger yard (to store more wood).

scavenger you should keep a small pack of kleenex when you work on firewood. That way when they cry about it you can just get out a tissue and hand it to them.... then walk away.

Unless you have covenants in your neighborhood that she can use against you I would scoff right back at her. We had a new couple move in on our road at our previous house that caused all kinds of trouble, they wanted to enact defunct covenants from 1961. It was an older guy shacking up with a very young gal right out of law school, they threatened to sue us if we put up plastic pink flamingos on our horse corral for property devaluation. Except..... They were in violation of the covenants too:rofl:

PS, the pink flamingos was a joke at a neighborhood road meeting to lighten athe mood for everybody after their threats :rolleyes::rolleyes::loco: :picard:

No covenants here, I couldn't live that way. I just pile pallets, logs, or whatever, wherever I want to. "Live Free or Die"

Looks tidy enough to me, just keep being nice to her regardless that way she is the only one that has to be miserable.

According to my wife, neighbors, family, friends and the rest of the folks down my street, I have "ENOUGH WOOD", or "TOO MUCH WOOD". I now have 14.8 cord split and stacked in my yard, which is 0.10 acres (yes, 1/10th of an acre).

I still think, I need to get some wood!! :D

Im sitting on .12 or .14 cant quite remember so I can relate. Thats a lot of wood for that small of a plot but it can be done. Im able to get about half of what you have and still have lots of room for other things. I guess it all depends on how you stack it.
