Well on my trip to the North... I only had enough time to take in two beers, from Canada. Both were from Toronto's Mill Street Brewery. One was there Stout, but the other was a Coffee Porter. Both were very good, but that Porter was almost desert like.

Here's a link from WebMD . The length of power nap depends on what you are looking for. Physical or mental recharge.

The Secret and Surprising Power of Naps

For my uses, the power nap before rem sleep kicks in helps me when I'm driving cross country, or similar, I use more than the 10-20 minute naps because that's not really physical, but more mental drain.

neighbors are farmer.. they put manure and saw chip bedding in a pile ... after a year it compost in to the most beautiful topsoil you ever seen.. in Vermont some company sell 50-50 top soil and cow manure for gardens it's labeled moo-dirt and :makeitrain"

I get same stuff really for free.... it's organic, it doesn't smell and we put it on gardens and flower beds... it's black and great stuff

But you really need a tractor to get to it and load it... so I go give my wife chit (composted manure) and she thanks me... I mean really how many times can a guy say that and be honest:D:rofl:

Morning all. Time for coffee and breakfast then out to the shed site. Wall raising day. Then hopefully get the trusses on top before it's time to go to the range. It is our holiday week end up here so need to pick up my sheathing today on the way to the range. Everyone stay safe and have a great day.

I think some of it also has to do with how much sleep each person requires. I require less sleep than a lot of people; I normally wake up naturally after 5-6 hours (I put down my book at 12:10 am this morning and got up before 5:30 this morning - no alarm). And, like I said, I don't set an alarm for my naps, it just happens that I am refreshed and wake up. I can push the issue, but after that it is very much a constant wake / sleep cycle which seems to drain me more than anything

That being said, my day job is mostly on the computer, so the "20 minute" power nap lets my mind rest (although I rarely hit 20 minutes and many times I nap for 10 minutes or less - Friday it was 7 minutes from the time I leaned back to the time I sat up).

The study does state to make it less than 30 minutes if you don't want to wake up groggy - which I guess is my main goal.

Woke up to a clear blue sky this morning with no wind. We have been having this kind of weather for the last two weeks or so. Summers aren't usually this good. A long weekend holiday for us so visiting Granny today and then maybe gardening tomorrow.

Today has been rough for me.

I just feel so down in the dumps.
    Nothing is pleasing me today.
Well, i enjoyed sneaking a pup out of Momma's nest.
I got away with it and was relaxing in my recliner with
the 1 week old pup snuggled up on my chest.
Well.. i got away with it until it started squealing like a pig. lol
    Momma came in a hurry.

Got a few things going on with 1 side of my family and its just
bringing me down big time. it sucks.

My wife and I finished off a full cooler of beer while relaxing on the boat today.

    Really rough. Lol

Sorry no pics, as we were listening to music through my phone, and I didn't have the Bluetooth hooked up.
