    A great happening earlier.

Scored 1000 sq ft of top grade Pergo with the pad too for $200

    Gottta haul it home tomorrow.

Only about 2o miles from here, so easy run.

Been watching Craigs for a while off and on and all small lots or BIG $$$$$

This stuff came from an upscale home in town that was non smoker, non pet and older couple.

Big rooms, so will give me lotsa pieces that are not cut.

I only need about 600 feet, but since it has been down before the 1000 feet looked like a great deal.

I have done this stuff in the past and it's a breeze to lay.

Will be way cool when it's done.

Gonna go paint shopping soon too.

Might as well paint before we get the new floor down.

Finished up the new aluminum rod earlier.

    Getting excited now. :D:D:D

Be more fun wrenching on a pellet stove though

In our new digs, we decided no curtains. Just the wooden blinds for all the windows except for the kitchen. Used those accordion panels. Had them all custom made complete with matching valances. No more cloth drapes hiding the windows or obstructing the light. Didn't take any time at all to get use to no drapes or curtains.

We have the venetian blinds in all the windows plus the drapes to accent things.

The bare inset windows just suck.

I don't want curtains either, I'd rather see the view:) I have blinds for the sun certain times of the year but they are usually pulled up.

    Well now.

Trip to Salem was a real sweet treat.

Guy was all ready when we got there and we loaded up and got our prize home without incident.

    Here are some pix

Best part is that this stuff is an exact match to the approximately 5 boxes we have left from doing our master bedroom.

    Same color, style and such.

8 mm thick and really nice stuff.

A few of the full planks have a nick here and there on the locking tabs, but no worries.

Lotsa small pieces that will allow us to fill in the last sections next to a wall or ????
    Little strips and such.

Largest amount is full length uncut planks.

Guy said there was 1000 sqft, but I think its closer to maybe 700.

Should be plenty to do the job though.

I would love to finish and not have a bunch left to worry about hiding some place.
