Probably won't be for a couple months. They had a conference bridge open all day during the maintenance and the tenants were bellyaching about it. I didn't care too much but we are small fish in that building.

Yeah, well, no. I haven't touched any liquor since I got my hours/days upped at my second job a month ago. I don't get much sleep during the week, so catch up on weekends (I actually slept for almost 8 hours today - that is a lot for me, I do best with around 5). I don't need any alcohol messing with that sleep thing. Nor do I need a hangover on a weekend so I can't get the things done that I can only get done on weekends (since nights are out).

That's okay, it means I don't have to constantly replenish the ring of vodka around my pellets that is keeping you from :vulture:

I'll take it. No stove on and the house was 68ºF this AM. Just right for me.

She's gonna be cold when she gets up and ask it the stove is on. I'm gonna hand her a blanky. Wish me luck!!

Well haven't spoke in awhile so lets see. Today is gonna be cold (50 maybe) and windy. I see the trees are doing the shake thing out there now. Wifey and DIL are going to a bridal shower this afternoon/early evening which gives me some alone time. Was thinking of doing a little bass fishing, but wind will make that harder than it should be. Could take a putt on the bike but my riding bud has a cold and doesn't want to ride. So as I sit here suckin on my coffee I believe thee day will consist of getting my fishing stuff together, finish spring cleaning on the bike, change oil on the mower, clean interior of the truck. Maybe mow some lawn with a Molson in the cup holder of the mower. In between I will watch a little NASCAR and DVR NHRA so I can watch that tonight. Of course any or all of these things could be suspended if someone calls with a better idea.

Side note. On Friday (the 13th) I got a call early in the am that a longtime family friend that we considered an aunt since she was my real aunts lifelong friend had passed away. They had held me the day I was born . She was in failing health and 2 weeks shy of 90 yrs. old. Passed peacefully in her sleep. She and my aunt had worked together for 40 + years at the local energy company as secretaries to the presidents of the company. My oldest son has been trying to gain employment at the same company for the past year and Friday afternoon he got a letter stating he is being extended an offer of employment. Coincidence I know, but weird how things work out.

Unsure what is so funny? :emb:

Right now it is 63% humidity and that is very normal - at 31% we aren't sweating at 50*

    SWZT 48".
Replaces an 18yro Bobcat 48" belt drive where the deck was rotting thru. No issues until 5 yrs ago. Had to have magneto replaced then the next year, the carb (float valve leaked and flooded engine, no damage, just couldn't pull the rope).
New deck was gonna cost $1200. Then had to move everything from old to new.
When I got the price initially, thought I could do on own. That was back in the fall.
Fast forward to march 8 and cervical "owie" shows up.
    Full replacenent time.
New bobcat with lectric start, belt drive fixed heght drive or scag was abt same price. Went with scag due to floating deck and hydrostatic drive. Lectric start only available on 52 inch ( then it would take less than the 25 min or so it takes now to mow, less exercise :( )
Did get a trade in on old bobcat. Only abt 1000 hrsish. Residential only.

Now to get extra set of blades or 2 (had 2 xtra sets for bobcat, one abt a year old. Unsharable with scag (darn).
If i didnt have the 48 inch, looking at 90+min to mow with small mower. And too mucky this time of year for a rider (and no exercise).

    Raining and chilly again.

New roof getting a good check ride now.

New ventilators make a totally different "clink, tinkle" noise when the rain hits them as compared to the old ones.

The cat was sitting on the vanity in the bathroom staring at the ceiling fan vent and cocking her head then chirping.

She was telling me that something is different.

This weatheer puts a crimp in my plans for the day stopped at Lowe's got some stain for the deck , [ it felt weird coming out of Lowe's and not pushing a cart load of pellets   ] don't see any staining happening in freezing azz windy weather .
