Tried this today, and it worked great! Portable and cheap.

I really like that, portable though not light but inexpensive. I am cutting in the morning, I will give it a try. Thanks for posting the pictures.

It actually worked even better than it looks. I used it in three places in the yard today it was easier to move the sawbuck in my little yard trailer than to move the wood to the sawbuck.

That !!! is slick as heck,. Fantastic idea:thumbs: cutting a whole bunch at once is the way to go
Don't need to store it somewhere, when you're done, burn it in the stove. :fire:
Dang, that allnighter must hold some good-sized pieces

I actually went a bit longer on these than I intended.

At first I was worried about hitting the block with the saw, but that won't happen, there is plenty of space. Especially if you cross the uprights in the block, like shown on the first photo, which lifts everything up a little above the blocks.

Maybe after you cut the top ones you could knock them off and you could see better for the bottom ones

It actually wasn't worth worrying about, keeping clear of the blocks was not a problem. You can see on the first post that the logs were well clear of the blocks.

You would think it would be tippy - it wasn't. Plus, if it breaks, I'll just burn it!:D
