Well Eric my latest manual is 250+ pages and you want me to read the whole thing when I can waste your time by calling and asking you a few questions?

I'm shocked and to think the next manual is even bigger and isn't written at the kindergarten level.

Really folks Read The Fine Manual just make certain you have the Engrish translator turned on.

I will stick with Yuengling and Apple Pie. The green/brown leafy stuff just puts me to sleep.

Dexter, I saw the term "GTG" on one of "those" sites. Hmmmmm. Just kidding. I am trying to get there. Maybe even do a little baking before hand.

ma i'd lke to make it , aint ruling it out especially if eric will be there (he's closer than me) and he did me a 'solid" once a few years back. timing is tough though, if I can convince the wife to make a trip to visit her family (akron, just up the street) i'll get there, but its a tough time of year for me businesswise, trade shows are that time of year

Why would someone who does this for a living and owns their own shop scold people who don't know any better for calling and asking for help? This seems a little counter productive??? If we could find out what we needed from our manuals than we wouldn't need you and you would be needing a job, right? This post just seems a bit pretentious and arrogant to me and if I were looking for a stove or some repair work I certainly wouldn't be looking your way that's for sure....

I'm a machinist and I make parts to customer prints, this is the equivalent to me telling my customers to just read your prints and make your parts yourself!

The wording of your post, basically says no one is supposed to read the manual? Because the dealer already read it?

    Well said Smokey

The statement the OP made was more along the lines, of the money that could be saved. Pellet stoves are much different in operation than a wood stove and require maintenance in slight intervals. Knowing how to start it and the things that the operator are responsible for, are a must.

After all, you have invited fire into your home. To not read the manual, makes you (not directed at anyone. You= person who doesn't read the manual) a fool.

I only made those comments based on a potential customer visiting this place from a google search and them reading the owner of a shop complaining about customers calling for help, and that's exactly what they'll take from this. Just an observation from a person who googles and researches everything before moving forward with a purchase. Hell, that's how I found most of the forums I belong to now......
