Firewood Furniture for Mom

    Over the past couple weekends I dropped and milled an English Walnut at my sisters house. Turned out to have some beautiful curly grain to it. These pieces were the "waste" but they were still too nice for firewood. So now they're a present for my mom.

    Actually the slab I made the legs from was already cracked right down the middle. That's why I went with the double tenons. But yeah, no glue or fasteners and the joinery should allow for some movement, so I think it will be ok.
