    True story...I took a ride on my motorcycle one day and headed downeast to West Quoddy Head, which oddly enough is the eastern most point in the U.S., anyway from the seat of my motorcycle that day I saw a deer, a moose, a bear and a whale...aaaaand I got no pictures to prove it.

    IMG958156.jpg Loading the truck and trailer to go replant the food plot at deer camp that the power coop decided to run the mulcher thru. I'd show you all the pics, but it's now just a long strip of mud that used to be wildlife habitat. Here's an example....imagine 200 yds long. Was beautiful white durana clover and oats. :hair::headbang::emptywallet:

    We had a pair of cardinals nest in the Rhododendron next to the front porch, the eggs hatched last wed-thur and two of the little buggers decided to fly today.
    The third runt, jumped the nest and was sitting on a limb, momma kept coming back and feeding it today. I think the dad is off in the woods caring for 1 or 2 of the bigger fledglings.
    We're supposed to get some chilly temps for May tonight, low 40's - bad timing for the first night out of the nest

    Nature has a way of working itself out. Be happy you get to see the nesting activities that close to home ;)

    I know, we kept the dogs inside so they weren't part of the "natural selection" process.
    The male fed them consistently all day long, and he took off with first one to leave the nest.
    There was some interesting territorial behavior with another pair of Cardinals that must be nested on the other side of the garage - that female would come check on the nest and the male would run her off

    Please share your new definition of Quackgrass. I always thought it was scrub or crap grass.
    Jughead= a moron
    Dipchit= what you use to check capacity in your septic tank.
