    Quiet here.
Got lottsa mowing done yesterday while it was cool in the morning.

No fire this morning, only 67 in the house, but the big screen here in my office is picking up the slack for now.

Much cooler today with highs about 70 F

Did the fried seafood and Tuckerman's run today. The boss got some seeds and onion sets just up the road from the feeding troth, that was the excuse the boss used to visit Metcalf's trading post.

Currently crusing the interwebby watching the talking heads exploding. damm do they ever get outta shape when things don't go their way.

Spent a buttload of time mowing grass today with the tractor, then finished the stove project.

Tired and just plain worn out.

The old bones are just toast.

After a six-day marathon of work, including an 11th hour build out & install of a VoIP phone system for a client, I'm beat.

No rest for the weary though: both ladies are finishing up their semesters over the next few weeks, time to find room back here at the Homestead for all their stuff.. And it keeps growing each year. :picard: I may have to start considering renting a storage unit.

My brain hurts from IT work. Really need to get outside & enjoy doing some yard work & long-overdue Smoothie consumption.

The little stove is running here most of the day, keeping it off at night, the temps. (low 40's F) are warm enough to carry over to the morning now. * Still favoring pellets over oil, but letting the Dino-monster cycle through a few times a day, to keep it in good shape.
Hope all is well with everyone, back on the road to pickup the Boss from work.. :pete:

Have a great day all.

Rain is over buttttttttt it's chilly this morning.

Roofers are supposed to start on replacing the roof today.

Been 23 years up here in the nasty wind, rain and snow and the roof is just tired.

Decided to bite the bullet and get the entire roof redone this spring.

Fought a couple small leaks over the past few years and push has come to shove finally.

Found a small company with good reviews that came in at $10 K to gitterdone

The heavy winds we had earlier this winter took a toll on things and that turned the tide.

Best part, I don't have to do much :D

Glad that isn't me. My BIL has two roofs he is doing this year, one they started on yesterday. I guess that is one price for having 4 houses.

Well the wash is getting there, today is setup day for the yard goods sale so the boss is helping with that. I get to stay home with the cat and do regular chores. Tomorrow she gets to cut cloth for 5 hours. Not my idea of fun. I flashed the WNDR4500 router with DD-WRT yesterday evening will be playing with it a bit later. My stability test on the WNDR3700V4 is going well. Nothing has gone bump in the night.

Now that is a real problem for a pellet pig. Even I struggled with that this year. After a lot of my stuff was thinned out and hauled off to the dump, there finally was room enough to put 6 tons of pellets under the stairs in the garage.

    And your address is??

    :vulture:

Just kiddin. Sitting on almost 6 tons myself. Most I ever stuffed!! Certianly is a dandy feeling. But I might get the jitters next fall when I don't need to go out huntin. Have to settle on a bag or 2 at a time. Or just keep buying fishing gear. :D

Oh, such a problem to have. Therapy may be needed. as for the buying the fishing gear, I trust Joey isn't in braces yet? I had to forego getting my garage for several years while my kids got braces. All 4 of them went through it. My fishing gear was limited to what I could get at Walmart. Maine gave me a life time free fishing license because of my disabled Vet. status.
