Might actually see a little sun today and get some solar gain. Haven't seen the big yellow ball in the sky since Saturday, and it has been cool and rainy the whole time too, so stoves have been working steadily. Still cloudy and drizzling, but I could see a peak of rays over the horizon as I was getting to work.

Ah, no. No sun here till maybe next week. :(

I guess the new plants I put in will like all the rain.

There is a bright side to that (see what I did there? ), the new plants will not only like the rain, but for a bonus, the cloudiness will lessen any shock from being transplanted.

Well, I didn't actually see that thing called the sun, just the first beginning rays (a short sliver between the cloud shelf and the horizon). I think if you weren't up and out, and facing the right direction at 5:45 AM (in my little corner of the world), you missed the entire showing. Completely gray out now :(

Poured down last night about 7:30

Cool this morning and little stove is ON
The Chupi cat suggested that it was a good idea to build a fire.

Really looking forward to a non-raining day also. * Our grass is greening up nicely, though.

The Boss is fully in plant-shopping mode - I'm sure I'll be digging in mud this weekend.

Need more (plants and) Smoothies.. :D

Lighting the stove as soon as I get home. 45 and rainy here. Miserable! On the bright side, the lawn is thriving.

Gore Tex is good stuff. I've found Frogg Toggs work well too. I had to work outside during the last time we had big rain from a hurricane, about 4 years ago(?).....they passed the test.

Stove off now, and likely will be through the night.

Probably re-fire it in the morning for a bit.

    85 F outside now.

    Off for the time being.

Cool nights coming, may need a spot fire in a day or two.
