Yeah its not a saw...so sue me Had a few minutes after work yesterday afternoon - used some scrap Cherry,Red Oak & White Pine brought home from a remodel/demo job ages ago,few cuts with the band saw, some 18 gauge brads & built a new cabinet for most of the oil cans. The early 90's Husqvarna Forest & Garden steel sign that was here will be moved to the shed next month....
My 365 special in action at Backwoods Savage GTG and Redneck helping me to load the sawbuck!! Great times!!!
Looks like that soft stuff like tennis racket wrap or something . The type stuff that sticks to itself. Probably the same thing we're talking about.
It is actually bicycle handlebar tape from my local uber-expensive biker shop, they made me wear a tie to go in and look at the tape They had a lot of different types, colors, etc. I picked the squishy-est to protect my hands from the big compression saws. It is from Cannondale and included two rolls that had enough to do three handles each, maybe four if you were careful. I was tired of having bruises and blood blisters on the palm of my hand from starting saws
Super 250 - 5.3 cubic inch/87cc one of their factory hot rods very close to a full on racing kart engine.Sold from May 1970 to July 1975. Updated version of the scarce 380 sold from July 1963 to May 1964. VERY strong compression, good spark, starts with a prime now just needs that big Tillotson carb cleaned or a new gasket kit installed.Has very nice 20" hardnose .404 bar. Lower frame brace had some corrosion so I swapped it for an almost perfect one out of my parts stash & also installed the spike from my unfinished 380 project.
Except for the first one (1 quart 1960's maybe?) all are full/unopened. Early-mid 1970's lightly used vinyl scabbard & NOS 14" slim bar.
Here's a couple I pulled out to take a neighbors tree down a couple weeks ago. And a solo shot of the hybrid.
